Wood-Grain Paint Process

I believe you need to take detail shots for reference to copy the original graining design of seams etc.


 

Then it is strip the Moldings and Trim and sand down to the bare metal and metal prep and repair as needed.



After the primer goes the base coat of color...

Now mask off the dark base color and spray on the lighter base color.

Let the wood grain begin


Notice the pattern pictures to get it right the first time?

When you are satisfied with the grain effect Clear-Coat to seal the deal!
